Part-time Flexible or Seasonal Candy Associate
​
Must be able to adapt to a flexible schedule. Shifts could start between 10 am & 3 pm and could end as late as 9:30 pm on weeknights and 10:30pm on weekends depending on start time.
Minimum requirements
-
Work 3-5 shifts a week, including weekends, from May-September.

Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting at least 50 pounds.

Communicates effectively with both customers and team members
Desired Qualifications:

Have great people skills and can establish positive relationships with customers

Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems

Money handling experience
Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Provides excellent customer service, makes product recommendations, and answers questions.​​​

Cashier
-
Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
-
Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
-
Collect payments whether in cash or credit
-
Issue receipts and/or correct change
-
​Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
-
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
-
Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
-
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
-
​Bag, box or wrap packages
-
-
Dipping ice cream
-
​This can be physically demanding when customer volumes are high
-
Greet customers
-
Provide samples
-
Scoop ice cream and toppings to fill customer orders
-
Assist on the register
-
Restock ice cream flavors in display tubs
-
Restock bowls, cones, and toppings behind the counter
-
Restock napkins and spoons for customers
-
Clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces in between customers
-
Assist with other tasks as needed
-

Sales Floor - Candy and other goods​
-
Packing bulk candy
-
Stocking sales shelves and bins with all products​
-
Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries.
-
Sorts and stocks products on shelves and in the backroom.

Assists fellow associates as needed throughout the store.

Follows written and verbal instructions from managers.
-
Adheres to federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
The candidate must be dependable, responsible, motivated, consistent, and able to take direction & feedback from any supervisor.
